La Bonita is a local Mexican restaurant in Eagle Grove. Our food is made fresh with authentic ingredients and spices. We have a full breakfast, lunch and dinner menu that gives you a variety of choices! With different food specials everyday, you are bound to find something you love! We also have an Iced Coffee Machine and Freal machine.A favorite breakfast item is our Skillet Burrito. It has a hashbrown patty with scrambled eggs/sausage and cheese wrapped in the burrito.How about lunch or supper? We have the best fried chicken in town. We have Chester's Chicken in our kitchen everyday. All Chester Combos now come with Potato wedges.

Owned by Philip & Brooke Johnson, along with Philip's mom Colette! Opened in October 2023 after buying the Naked Bean and then rebranded to Boone River Coffee Co! The shop was also owned with Brooke's mom, Lorrie Allen, and sister and brother in law, Bri and Jay Strait! They helped with the branding, remodel, getting it up and running and then Brooke, Phil and Colette bought them out shortly after that! All of the hard work has made Boone River Coffee Co. to be as special as it is today!

The Three Rivers Trail is located near Calhoun Avenue, between 250th Street and 255th Street outside of Eagle Grove. It is approximately 2 miles west of Eagle Grove. The trail is a 32 to 40 mile, mostly gravel/crushed rock trail running on an old railroad right-of-way. There is a parking area at the Eagle Grove trailhead on Calhoun Avenue. 

The Three Rivers Trail was established in 1991. The trail runs along 32 miles of the old Chicago and Northwestern Railroad right of way between the towns of Rolfe and Eagle Grove.

As the name implies, the trail crosses three rivers, the West Fork of the Des Moines, the East Fork of the Des Moines and the Boone River. The trail passes through a variety of different habitat types ranging from woodlands to shrubby grassland to open prairie.

Trail amenities such as parking areas, picnic shelters and restrooms are available at several locations.
